However, even routine activities can generate significant amounts of hazardous wastes. In 2011, Cook Inletkeeper worked with funding from the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation to update the 2005 Cornell Harbor Survey, specifically in regards to vessel maintenance infrastructure availability.
